Desirable amendments to JCT building contracts

This analysis by David Lewis comprises a table listing (in order of importance, in the author's view) clauses in the JCT design and build contract (DB) which need amendment and the risks which the client runs if they are not amended. Most of the analysis can be applied equally to other JCT standard forms, (allowing of course for differences in clause numbering and wording).
